It all looks so beautiful - you had me in raptures over the lupins.

So much happy green for the sheepies, and so much promise for harvesting for yourself (with help from your dear smaller humans) over Spring to Summer and beyond. Hazeltree Farm is looking wonderful under your stewardship!

Hi T'lia - Our place continually inspires me. When I think that, for the same price, we could have *almost* afforded a unit in Melbourne! Yikes!

Hi MountainWildlife - It's a lot of work. It has done nothing but rain the last few days, and I can practically watch the weeds shoot up outside, but it is too muddy to do anything about them!

When it dries a bit, I'll be out there, in my boots, grubbing them up.

But, of course, the bright side of warm wet weather is that the ground is easy to work with. I'll be planting 60 gladdie bulbs on the roadside once it clears a bit :-) They'll look terrific in a month or two, once they start blooming.

Oh, and photos will ensue! ;-)

Hi Bruise Mouse - Our hard work is *starting* to pay off. This morning I was at a workshop finishing off my top bar beehive, and soon we'll have BEES too! It's so exciting!
