And now I know how to save money with the cheapest moisturiser you can buy from the supermarket shelf. You might even have it in your pantry right now.
After trying virtually every name brand of moisturiser from "cheap" (QV and Cetaphil) through to expensive (Lancome), a friend suggested I try plain old rice bran oil.
I did. And it works better than anything I've ever tried!
I use the spray variety, because a spray delivers a fine and even mist. Just pump away, then rub it in. It's especially good for dry feet and chapped heels.
I probably wouldn't recommend it for your face, if you're susceptible to pimples (I'm not), but if you have very dry patches on your face, try leaving it on overnight, then rinsing in the morning.
I can't believe the difference it has made to my skin. I'm an allergicky sort of person, and it also causes no reaction for me at all, which is great.
Give it a go!
Have a lovely day!

Hello:) I love rice bran oil! I've been using it on my elbows lately. I've given up on trying things from the chemist to use on my skin! x
Hi Michelle - Rice bran oil is awesome. I never thought it would work so well as it does, but I'm hooked now.
For my feet, which used to get really dry on the heels, I rub it in, then put cotton socks on, and wear it overnight. My feet are softer than my four year old daughter's now! :-)
